One thing that South African gamers want in all their multiplayer games (and no one can blame them) are some SA servers so our latency doesn’t put us at a disadvantage. Well, it is time for Rainbow Six Siege players to get excited, as Ubisoft has announced Rainbow Six Siege SA servers to be tested starting tomorrow, on 11 November 2019. The final objective is the opening of permanent live servers for the game in South Africa.
This awesome news was revealed via a Press Release sent to us, alongside the Shifting Tides announcement. The fourth and last season of Siege Year 4 will also include two new operators, one from Africa!
Two of these test servers will be Rainbow Six Siege SA Servers and the tests will commence on 11 November 2019 and Ubisoft will be analysing the results of these tests. Keep in mind that consistent gameplay experience isn’t guaranteed in test servers and if you encounter any issues, you should submit them to R6 Fix platform. The Rainbow Six Siege SA Server test is exclusive to Windows PC.
About Shifting Tides:
“Kenyan Defender Wamai and Indian Attacker Kali are the two new operators coming in Operation Shifting Tides. They met in the NIGHTHAVEN Special Intervention Company, a private military group owned and led by Kali. Wamai is Kali’s best operator at NIGHTHAVEN. His gadget, the Mag-NET System, can attract enemy projectiles and detonate them at its location. With his gadget, Wamai can make Attackers’ grenades and projectile gadgets useless, or even better, turn them against their users. Kali is equipped with a CSRX 300 sniper rifle that can breach barricades and hatches in a single shot. Her gadget is its under-barrel, the LV Explosive Lance, that destroys all gadgets on both sides of breakable and reinforced surfaces.
In addition to these two new Operators, players will be able to explore a reimagined Theme Park map, which is back and newly reworked. The Rail Platform has been removed and the East and West sections have been brought closer together. Inside the building, the East section has largely evolved, primarily the downstairs area. Gargoyle and Haunting Dining bomb sites are replaced with the Throne Room and Armory pair. The new Gong Room in this area also becomes the main entrance, while the Arcade Entrance is now blocked.”
