It looks like the development of Halo Reach for PC is going pretty well with testing going on right now. Developer 343 Industries have shared an update on their progress, talked about cross-play and importantly for PC gamers, revealed the detailed Halo Reach PC specs, aka the system requirements.
First up, it looks like cross-play between PC and Xbox One won’t make it to Halo Reach at launch, but it might be added later. However, Steam and Windows Store players will be able to play the game together. With this announcement, 343 Industries also revealed how cross-progression will work.
Note that for green, data is retained across devices, while red means no cross-progression and blue is in special cases for example with Steam Cloud.
Now, onto the game’s PC specs, or system requirements if you will. Keep in mind that the Halo Reach PC specs below might change before launch, but developer 343 Industries do want it to run well on many PC setups, from potatoes to high-end gaming rigs.
The developer has shared some great, detailed Halo Reach system requirements, from the minimum all the way up to what you will need for 4K gaming either with NVIDIA or AMD graphics cards. Check it out below.
