While some of us struggle to get a couple of kills in Fortnite’s Battle Royale, others are going for records. The previous all-platform record for a single squad in a single match was 59, until now. An Australian squad has broken the Fortnite kill record and achieved a whopping 61 kills.
The four players who managed to achieve this feat of skill go by the nicknames Fortitude_Fqrbes, TTV_NadeXC, Nexis and tactjc-. What makes this even more impressive is that they did it on the PS4, which means no mouse and keyboard control. The squad managed to take out more than half the server.
To avoid allegations of cheating or manipulation in any way, three out of the four players have shared their point-of-view videos which you can all watch below.
Please note that the videos below do contain quite a bit of foul language as per internet tradition.
As you can see, this is the real deal and there was no cheating or any kind of manipulation involved. Fqrbes managed to get a total of 25 kills, while Nexis got 18 and the other two players managed to get 10 a piece. It is, without a doubt, an extremely impressive feat.
It is always amazing to see such skill and when you look at the gameplay, you would never think that these guys are using controllers. It just goes to show that determination and high skill can help you achieve some really impressive things.
